In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Morton Potters basketball squad scored a close 61-58 victory over the Champaign Central Maroons.

With the victory, Morton improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Potters travel to Pekin (Pekin, IL) to confront the Dragons in a Mid-Illini challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Pekin won 50-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Illini Central (Mason City, IL)

Next up, the Maroons confront the Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Champaign Central will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record.
