Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Dallas edges Freedom
December 9, 2023: Bethlehem, PA 18020 The Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) basketball nipped the host Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA), 66-59 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mountaineers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, North Pocono was tipped by Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 52-39, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pocono Mountain East for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Freedom will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 71-52 non-league win over Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-0.
