Oklahoma High School Basketball - Shawnee fells Marshall
December 9, 2023: Shawnee, OK 74801 Shawnee Wolves (Shawnee, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marshall Bears (Oklahoma City, OK), 59-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Shawnee upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Wolves host Western Heights (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the Jets in a 5A District 1 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Jets go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Western Heights lost 51-47 in their recent non-league bout against Luther (Luther, OK)
Next up, the Bears play the Midwest City Bombers (Midwest City, OK) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Bombers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 54-48 non-league loss to Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK).
