Oklahoma High School Basketball - MacArthur can't hold off Shawnee
February 22, 2024: Lawton, OK 73501 The Shawnee Wolves basketball team scored 60 points and held the host MacArthur Highlanders to 54 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolves now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guthrie for a 5A District 1 contest on Friday, February 23. Shawnee will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 59-51 non-league win over Guymon (Guymon, OK). The Bluejays record now stands at 21-3.
The Highlanders (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Guymon (Guymon, OK). The Tigers enter the 5A District 2 contest with a 6-17 record. In their last contest, Guymon was nudged by Guthrie (Guthrie, OK), 59-51, in a non-league contest.
