Georgia High School Basketball - Towers tipped by M.L. King

The M.L. King Lions basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Towers Titans to 66 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lithonia for a AAAAA Region 4 contest on Tuesday, December 12. M.L. King will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-56 league win over Chamblee (Chamblee, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.

The Titans (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA). The Royal Knights go into the AA Region 5 outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Elite Scholars Academy was tipped by Atlanta Classical Academy (Atlanta, GA), 85-64, in a non-league outing.
