December 9, 2023: Washington, DC 20020 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) and the visiting Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD), saw Anacostia's basketball squad wallop Grace Brethren Christian by a tally of 59-9.
With the victory, Anacostia improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Banneker (Washington, DC) to confront the Bulldogs in a DCSAA challenge on Monday, December 11. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the confront the Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Grace Brethren Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
