Texas High School Basketball - Kaufman overwhelms Corsicana

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX) and the host Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX), saw Kaufman's basketball squad wallop Corsicana by a count of 71-45.

With the victory, Kaufman upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Community (Nevada, TX) to play the Braves in a 4A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Tigers play the Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Corsicana will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 52-45 non-league loss to Rockwall (Rockwall, TX).
