New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA), 90-18 in a league bout.

With the win, New Manchester upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Jaguar travel to Alexander (Douglasville, GA) to clash with the Cougars in a AAAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Alexander won 49-37 in their recent league bout against Paulding County (Dallas, GA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Douglas County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 62-34 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA).
