The Strother Yellowjackets basketball team scored 47 points and held the host New Lima Falcons to 39 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sasakwa for a Little River contest on Tuesday, December 12. Strother will battle a Vikings team coming off a 61-46 league loss to Moss (Holdenville, OK). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.

The Falcons (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Paden (Paden, OK). The Pirates enter the Little River contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Paden was defeated by Sasakwa (Sasakwa, OK), 60-34, in a non-league contest.
