The Prairie Pirates (Cottonwood, ID) basketball nipped the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, ID), 51-47 in Saturday's league test.

The Pirates (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Grangeville (Grangeville, ID). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Grangeville got by McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID), 53-48, in a non-league test.
