December 9, 2024: Waynesboro, MS 39367 Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS), 55-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Wayne Academy upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Lamar (Meridian, MS) to face the Raiders in a MAIS 5A District 2 match on Tuesday, December 10. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 0-8. Lamar lost 63-27 in their recent non-league match against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS)
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Russell Christian Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Enterprise will face a Warriors squad coming off a 44-33 league loss to Eastwood Christian (Montgomery, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
