December 9, 2024: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA), 72-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Nikes host New London (New London, IA) to face the Tigers in a SEI - South match on Friday, December 13. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-2. New London lost 65-45 in their recent non-league match against Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA)
The Panthers now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Madison for a Southeast match on Friday, December 13. Mt. Pleasant will face a Bloodhounds squad coming off a 57-55 league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 0-1.
