The Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) basketball edged the host Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 46-42 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Rams now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Albemarle School for a NCISAA Tarheel bout on Friday, December 13. Ridgecroft will play a Colts team coming off a 55-31 league loss to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC). The Colts record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Halifax Academy falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC) to play the Eagles in a NCISAA Carolina Independent bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-0.
