Virginia High School Basketball - Culpeper County thwarts Brentsville District
December 9, 2024: Culpeper, VA 22701 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) and the visiting Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), observed Culpeper County's basketball team knock off Brentsville District by a score of 44-30.
The Blue Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, William Monroe was knocked off by Madison County (Madison, VA), 35-30, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Brentsville District will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 65-25 non-league loss to Rappahannock County (Washington, VA).
