In Tuesday's non-league test, the Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) basketball squad trounced the host North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC), by a tally of 80-31.

The Bears now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ascend Leadership for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 10. Chatham Central will play a Aviators team coming off a 68-58 non-league loss to Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC). The Aviators record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, North Moore falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11.
