Tennessee High School Basketball - West Greene sneaks past Chuckey-Doak
December 9, 2025: Afton, TN 37616 The West Greene Buffaloes (Mosheim, TN) basketball edged the host Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN), 46-42 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Buffaloes now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host South Greene for a 2A District 1 bout on Friday, December 12. West Greene will play a Rebels team coming off a 58-42 league loss to Unicoi County (Erwin, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Chuckey-Doak falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN) to encounter the Warriors in a 2A District 1 challenge on Friday, December 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Happy Valley lost 71-58 in their recent league challenge against Johnson County (Mountain City, TN)
