Tennessee High School Basketball - Covington overwhelms Liberty Tech Magnet

December 9, 2025: Covington, TN 38019

The Covington Chargers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders to 44 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Memphis for a non-league outing on Friday, December 12. Covington will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 49-40 non-league win over Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.

The Crusaders (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Jackson Christian (Jackson, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Jackson Christian routed Chester County (Henderson, TN), 62-41, in a non-league outing.
