In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting John Paul II Guardians basketball team scored a big 65-33 win over the Geneva Eagles.

The Guardians (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against The Christian School at Castle Hills (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles come into the TAPPS 4A District 5 contest with a 18-3 record. In their last contest, The Christian School at Castle Hills smashed Hondo (Hondo, TX), 74-41, in a non-league match.

The Eagles now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burton for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Geneva will face a Panthers squad coming off a 78-30 non-league win over North Zulch (North Zulch, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.
