North Carolina High School Basketball - Independence routs Palisades

December 9, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28278

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Independence Patriots basketball team scored a big 78-53 triumph over the Palisades Pumas.

The Patriots (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, New Hanover smashed South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 71-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pumas battle the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Palisades will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 54-36 non-league loss to Combine Academy Regional (Lincolnton, NC).
