California High School Basketball - Fernley defeats South Tahoe
December 9, 2025: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 The Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) basketball were winner over the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 42-32 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Vaqueros now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Spanish Springs for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. Fernley will play a Cougars team coming off a 44-35 non-league win over Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, South Tahoe falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV) to play the Buckaroos in a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. The Buckaroos go into the bout with a record of 3-3.
