The First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Matanzas Pirates to 36 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Florida School for the Deaf & Blind for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. First Baptist Christian Academy will confront a Dragons team coming off a 45-34 non-league loss to Clay (Green Cove Springs, FL). The Dragons record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Matanzas falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL) to confront the Green Wave in a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. The Green Wave go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Father Lopez lost 58-53 in their recent non-league outing against Faith Christian (Orlando, FL)
