In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Magnolia Blue Eagles basketball team scored a close 35-31 triumph over the Wood County Christian Wildcat.

The Blue Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cameron (Cameron, WV). The Dragons go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.

The Wildcat now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage Christian for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Wood County Christian will face a Patriots squad coming off a 47-22 league loss to Parkersburg Christian (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
