In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees basketball team scored a close 53-49 triumph over the Magnolia Blue Eagles.

The Cee-Bees (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Bridgeport was nudged by Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV), 43-41, in a non-league match.
