Iowa High School Basketball - Roland-Story overwhelms Nevada

The Roland-Story Norsemen basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Nevada Cubs to 38 in the Norsemen league triumph on Tuesday.

The Norsemen now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a Heart of Iowa game on Friday, December 12. Roland-Story will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 56-25 league loss to Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Nevada falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cubs host Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a Heart of Iowa outing on Thursday, December 11. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Saydel lost 51-33 in their recent league outing against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA)
