Arkansas High School Basketball - St. Paul toppled by Oark
December 9, 2025: Oark, AR 72852 Oark Hornets (Oark, AR) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting St. Paul Saints (St. Paul, AR), 38-19 in a league match.
With the victory, Oark upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Hornets travel to Western Yell County (Havana, AR) to confront the Wolverines in a 1A Region 4 contest on Friday, December 12. The Wolverines go into the contest with a record of 2-11. Western Yell County lost 58-46 in their recent non-league contest against Westside (Coal Hill, AR)
In their next game, the Saints confront the Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR) in a 1A Region 4 contest, on Friday, December 12. St. Paul will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 53-24 league loss to County Line (Branch, AR).
