The Peru Nighthawks basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Plattsburgh Hornets to 38 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Nighthawks now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeastern Clinton for a Section 7 Champlain Valley outing on Tuesday, December 16.

The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Ogdensburg Free Academy (Ogdensburg, NY). The Blue Devils enter the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
