Georgia High School Basketball - Sherwood Christian Academy can't hold off Tiftarea Academy
December 9, 2025: Chula, GA 31733 Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles (Albany, GA), 39-35 in a non-league contest.
The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westfield School (Perry, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Westfield School was tipped by Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA), 31-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Sherwood Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 82-20 non-league loss to Stratford Academy (Macon, GA).
