North Carolina High School Basketball - Maiden tops Bandys
February 1, 2022: Catawba, NC 28609 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) and the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), saw Maiden's basketball squad knock off Bandys by a tally of 55-47.
With the victory, Maiden improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Newton-Conover (Newton, NC) to play the Red Devils in a 2A Conference 45 challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Newton-Conover lost 57-47 in their recent league challenge against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
Next up, the Trojans play the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a 2A Conference 45 challenge, on Friday, February 4. Bandys will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 64-47 league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
