Kentucky High School Basketball - Bourbon County ripped by Montgomery County
February 1, 2022: Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 The Montgomery County Indians basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Bourbon County Colonels to 55 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Central for a non-league contest on Friday, February 4. Montgomery County will meet a Indians team coming off a 72-54 non-league win over Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY). The Indians record now stands at 14-7.
The Colonels (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Bishop Brossart was routed by Bracken County (Brooksville, KY), 64-50, in a non-league contest.
