The Lytle Pirates basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Cotulla Cowboys to 23 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poth for a 3A Region IV District 27 contest on Friday, February 4. Lytle will battle a Pirates team coming off a 86-49 league win over Poteet (Poteet, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 17-2.
