New York High School Basketball - Iroquois knocked off by Williamsville East
February 1, 2022: East Amherst, NY 14051 The Williamsville East Flames basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Iroquois Chiefs to 61 in the Flames league triumph on Tuesday.
The Flames now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olean for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 5. Williamsville East will battle a Huskies team coming off a 58-47 league win over Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY). The Huskies record now stands at 11-1.
The Chiefs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Spartans enter the Section 6 Erie County II contest with a 1-13 record.
