The Pelion Panthers basketball team (Pelion, SC), was overwhelmed 68-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Silver Bluff Bulldogs (Aiken, SC)

The Bulldogs now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barnwell for a AA Region 5 battle on Friday, February 4. Silver Bluff will battle a Warhorses team coming off a 64-61 league win over Edisto (Cordova, SC). The Warhorses record now stands at 7-7.

The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Batesburg-Leesville was overwhelmed by Columbia (Columbia, SC), 45-44, in a league battle.
