Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO), 78-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Sand Creek upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Scorpions host Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Marauders in a 4A Colorado Springs Metro - North bout on Thursday, February 3. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Mitchell won 67-64 in their recent league bout against Falcon (Falcon, CO)

Next up, the Cardinals play the The Classical Academy Titans (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A Colorado Springs Metro - North bout, on Thursday, February 3. Elizabeth will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Titans enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 71-33 league win over Sierra (Colorado Springs, CO).
