Illinois High School Basketball - Richmond-Burton fells Harvard
February 1, 2022: Richmond, IL 60071 Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), 45-26 in a league bout.
With the victory, Richmond-Burton improves its record to 4-18 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL) to confront the Green Giants in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Green Giants come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Alden-Hebron won 35-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian Life/Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. Harvard will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 46-42 league loss to Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL).
