The Lorenzo Hornets basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Petersburg Buffaloes to 27 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 16-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson for a 1A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, February 4.

The Buffaloes (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Southland (Southland, TX). The Eagles come into the 1A Region I District 6 contest with a 1-4 record.
