The Utopia Buffaloes basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Medina Bobcats to 46 in the Buffaloes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to D'Hanis for a 1A Region IV District 31 contest on Friday, February 4. Utopia will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 38-32 league loss to Nueces Canyon (Barksdale, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 14-6.

The Bobcats (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX). The Cowboys enter the 1A Region IV District 31 contest with a 14-6 record.
