Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stark Generals (Weare, NH), 48-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Merrimack Valley upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The The Pride travel to Pelham (Pelham, NH) to clash with the Pythons in a Division II bout on Wednesday, February 2. The Pythons go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Pelham won 65-26 in their recent league bout against Sanborn Regional (Kingston, NH)

Next up, the Generals clash with the Coe-Brown Academy Bears (Northwood, NH) in a Division II bout, on Friday, February 4. Stark will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 37-31 league loss to Timberlane (Plaistow, NH).
