The Merrimack Valley The Pride basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Pelham Pythons to 44 in the The Pride league triumph on Wednesday.

The The Pride now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oyster River for a Division II contest on Thursday, February 3. Merrimack Valley will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 44-41 league loss to Manchester West (Manchester, NH). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-11.

The Pythons (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Timberlane (Plaistow, NH). The Owls enter the Division II contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Timberlane nudged Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH), 37-31, in a league contest.
