The Staunton Bulldogs basketball squad scored 56 points and limited the host Calhoun Warriors to 54 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Wednesday.

With the win, Staunton upgrades its record to 10-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Carlinville (Carlinville, IL) to play the Cavaliers in a South Central bout on Friday, February 3. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Carlinville lost 59-41 in their recent league bout against Litchfield (Litchfield, IL)

Next up, the Warriors play the North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley bout, on Friday, February 3. Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 6-17 record after their 72-31 non-league win over Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL).
