The Mira Loma Matadors basketball team (Sacramento, CA), was nudged 53-51 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA)

The Knights now sport a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodland for a Golden Empire League battle on Friday, February 3. Rio Linda will battle a Wolves team coming off a 65-50 league loss to Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-18.
