Kentucky High School Basketball - Scott County knocked off by Western Hills
February 1, 2023: Frankfort, KY 40601 The Western Hills Wolverines basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Scott County Cardinals to 68 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anderson County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3.
The Cardinals (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY). The Broncos enter the District 42 contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Frederick Douglass ran past Scott County (Georgetown, KY), 71-63, in a league contest.
