Kentucky High School Basketball - Sayre thwarts Scott County
January 17, 2023: Georgetown, KY 40324 The Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) basketball knocked off the host Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY), 57-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Blue Devils go into the District 42 test with a 9-6 record.
The Cardinals now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Bryan Station for a District 42 test on Friday, January 20.
