Colorado High School Basketball - Lamar crushes Atlas Preparatory School
February 1, 2023: Lamar, CO 81052 Lamar Thunder (Lamar, CO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons (Colorado Springs, CO), 65-12 in a league bout.
With the victory, Lamar upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO) to play the Mustangs in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout on Friday, February 3. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 9-8. Manitou Springs won 77-20 in their recent league bout against Florence (Florence, CO)
Next up, the Gryphons play the Florence Huskies (Florence, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout, on Friday, February 3. Atlas Preparatory School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 77-20 league loss to Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO).
