In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) ice hockey team nudged the host Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT), by a margin of 4-3.

The Tigers now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheehan for a Southern Connecticut - DII challenge on Saturday, February 4. Hand will clash with a Titans team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Titans record now stands at 5-6.
