February 1, 2024: Mead, NE 68041 The Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE) basketball knocked off the host Mead Raiders (Mead, NE), 49-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (17-0) will now prepare for their test against Freeman (Adams, NE). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Freeman notched a victory over Falls City (Falls City, NE), 69-21, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson County Central for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Mead will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 42-40 non-league win over Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 13-4.
