Nebraska High School Basketball - Elmwood-Murdock thwarts Mead
February 8, 2024: Mead, NE 68041 The Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) basketball knocked off the host Mead Raiders (Mead, NE), 54-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Knights (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Cornerstone Christian School (Bellevue, NE). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Cornerstone Christian School went down by Conestoga (Murray, NE), 70-28, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Omaha Christian Academy for a C2 District 3 test on Friday, February 9. Mead will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 54-36 non-league win over Heartland Christian (Council Bluffs, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-9.
