February 1, 2024: Portland, OR 97219 In Thursday's league outing, the Wells Guardians (Portland, OR) basketball squad edged the visiting Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR), by a count of 60-59.
The Guardians (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Roosevelt (Portland, OR). The Roughriders go into the 6A Portland outing with a 14-2 record. In their last outing, Roosevelt held off Franklin (Portland, OR), 84-68, in a league outing.
The Techmen now hold a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to McDaniel for a 6A Portland outing on Friday, February 2. Benson Tech will clash with a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 74-42 league loss to Jefferson (Portland, OR). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 1-17.
