The Sandhills/Thedford Knights basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Burwell Longhorns to 42 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ainsworth for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Sandhills/Thedford will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-50 non-league win over McCook (McCook, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.

The Longhorns (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Nebraska Christian prevailed over Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
