The Ainsworth Bulldogs topped the host Sandhills/Thedford Knights basketball team by a final score of 56-47 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 3. Ainsworth will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Bison come into the battle with a 8-9 record after their 73-36 non-league loss to Ogallala (Ogallala, NE).

The Knights (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mullen (Mullen, NE). The Broncos come into the D2 District 9 battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Mullen dropped by South Loup (Arnold, NE), 66-36, in a non-league battle.
