Illinois High School Basketball - Griggsville-Perry tops Camp Point Central
February 1, 2024: Griggsville, IL 62340 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes (Griggsville, IL) and the visiting Camp Point Central Panthers (Camp Point, IL), saw Griggsville-Perry's basketball squad knock off Camp Point Central by a tally of 35-21.
With the victory, Griggsville-Perry improves its record to 22-4 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to South County (Franklin, IL) to play the Vipers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Vipers come into the challenge with a record of 19-7. South County won 45-37 in their recent non-league challenge against North Mac (Virden, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Rushville-Industry Rockets (Rushville, IL) in a West Central challenge, on Friday, February 2. Camp Point Central will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 48-35 non-league win over Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL).
